If an unsolicited salesperson comes to your residence selling goods or services, DO NOT allow them into your home. If you’re interested in speaking with them, first ask if they have a current Certificate of Registration/Solicitors Permit (Ordinance #540) and ask to review the certificate.

If they do not have the certificate, please ask them to leave your premises. Contact the Albers Police Department (618)248-5156 or Albers Village Hall (618)248-5154 when any unsolicited salesperson visits your residence. ALL solicitors must have a current certificate to sell goods or services door-to-door in the Village of Albers.
